Valentine’s Day Red #NYFW

NYFWDay3Tammie-29

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone, I hope you had a nice and romantic evening. I’m up here in NYC, so ofcourse I didn’t get to spend it with my sweetie but anyway wanted to share some photos from my shoot yesterday. It was a bit warmer but not too much but I was able to take pics outside without actually freezing this time around. I reached out to fashion designer Sergio Hudson a few months back and asked him if he could make me a piece to wear for fashion week and he happily obliged. He made me a custom high-waisted pencil skirt and black cashmere turtleneck which came in handy with this weather. I paired it with a black vintage cape that I’ve had in my closet well over 4 years, just never wore it but I loved the pop of red with all the black! Check out more pretty pics inside, stay warm everyone!

  1. Tami, you look great and I love your confidence and style! I’m loving your posts and photos from fashion week. Question… who takes yours pictures for you when/if you travel alone?

  2. I work with a young lady in NYC named Leandra Brown for Fashion Week. I love her work because she understands fashion and what kind of pics Im looking for. All other places most pr firms have a photographer for us if I am on a bloggers trip or I try to shoot it myself. I have a camera but when it comes to taking pics of me, I try to find someone who can point and shoot. It can get quite pricey to hire photographers out of town though lol. At home, my kids or Robin Lori, Paras Griffin or Genae Banks shoots for me, whoever is available for events.
