Hey everybody, I hope you’re having a wonderful Monday! Well let me tell you guys I had a fun filled weekend! I was invited out by Glue Inc. to test drive the new 2011 Porsche Cayenne and party and let me tell yah, it was fab! The event was held at a private mansion and the place was simply gorg! All white everything was the color scheme and R&B crooners Neyo and Monica were there to host the event!
Monica looked radiant in her blue dress and Christian Louboutin stilettos. She is always so glamourous. Neyo kept it sleek and simple with a black and white ensemble and his trademark cap. I asked Neyo how he was loving his new Porsche and he said it was cool. I saw him pulling up in his Porsche at another event a few weeks back.
He gave me my hug and kisses and was whisked off to chat with other media. Monica then hit the stage and welcomed everyone and talked about the car and asked who was ready to be the very first test driver. I raised my hand high and she said, Tami you ready? I said you know it! A cute lady came up with the keys and we took to the streets driving the Cayenne v6/300hp. Lauren told me the car was based at 100,00 and I started to sweat as I moved the mirrors around and adjusted my seat, oh lawd! The seats felt like butter, the music was playing and I said a prayer as we cruised down the city streets.
I loved the new car smell that it had and all the fun features. I have never driven in a Porsche before, so I really loved the experience. The rest of the evening was full of fun,mingling,great music,movie screens of the history of Porsche playing, cocktails, dancing and the cute Porsche keepsakes. You know the theme was Dusk to Dawn and we partied till then lol ! Thanks to Sheri Riley with Glue Inc. for the personal invite, I had a Pinktastic time! Thanks to Porsche too for the test drive!
