What To Wear: The National Civil Rights Museum Freedom Awards Red Carpet

what to wear
Hello lovelies! I’m in Memphis, Tennessee for the very first time! I am hear to cover and report on the Annual National Civil Rights Museum Freedom Awards on the behalf of African Pride. I never heard of the award show before but quickly did research and found out that it’s a very empowering event that honors men and women that have contributed greatly to civil and human rights. For the red carpet event, I will get to interview honorees such as  Soledad O’Brien, journalist and executive producer, Tawakkol Karman, Yemeni human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Swin Cash, WNBA champion and activist and a host of others. I put together a few looks that you could wear if you are attending an upcoming prestigious red carpet like myself, to give you some ideas on what you could wear! Check back for all the pics and to see what I decided on wearing. More looks inside…
