Yes, I was just as devastated as you guys were when I got the news that my fun and loving couple, The Hartwells were separating. I will never forget the day Lisa called to tell me the heart breaking news. I knew this back in February but mums was the word from me. Even though I blog and work in media, I do know how to keep some things private. On some blogs they have came up with all sorts of reasons why they broke up but as you know, you can not always believe what you read. Some sites are for entertainment purposes and so sometimes the information is very “misleading” or just downright WRONG!
If there is one blog site you can read and BELIEVE that would me mine because The Hartwells are my family and close friends! You guys know that our families have been hanging tough for years now, so where other sites are “speculating” what happen, I know the real truth. When they say it was because of finances that is MOST DEFINITELY incorrect!
When people don’t know, they assume and sometimes that can be a bad thing. Just because someone says, “no comment” or that they don’t want to discuss something, that doesn’t mean they are guilty of doing anything wrong either.
People are reporting its because Ed is not working and its financial problems in their relationship? Umm, Ed hasn’t played football in over 4 years? If Lisa was going to leave Ed because of that, she would have done so a long time ago. I just wish that people would sit back and think about what they write before they put misinformation out there, its kinda funny.
Even though Lisa & Ed decided to do a reality show in the past, today they want everyone to know that they are doing fine and that they have kids to raise. So at this time, they would like everyone to respect their privacy and know they are doing ok. I just left Lisa a few hours ago and she is in good spirits.If you follow her on twitter, you see she is still working hard and promoting her new play,movie and book. If you liked them on the reality show or are still fans, lets support them and say a prayer for all parties. They both have beautiful spirits! xoxo

When I kept seeing Lisa promote her new play solo I started to wonder if she was still with Ed. Interesting. I wish them both the best and if its in God will that the reconcile if not I pray they can co parent their uber cute son togethr in a peaceful/productive manner.
This is a great post. Thanks for this update. I’ve always loved Lisa’s spirit. I met her last year at an Essence event and she was so sweet and down to earth. I wish both her and Ed the very best. Sometimes relationships don’t work out, and God has other plans. Totally agree, folks should respect their privacy and stop speculating. *smh*
If they are not together anymore does that mean he or she has left the home they reside in? I remember them moving to a house Ed owned before they got married and just wanted to know if they still live together

Hi Tami, I need to keep up more with entertainers in some cases. I have to admit, I have no idea who either one of these people are. But I will say that I wish them well and I hope that their children will continue to spend as much time as possible with both parents. Best wishes!
