Heidi Klum made a glamorous surprise return to the America’s Got Talent judges’ table, and she certainly dressed for the occasion!
The supermodel stepped in as a guest judge for the September 8 episode, temporarily taking over Simon Cowell’s seat while he recovers from back surgery. While fans may have been thrilled to see the longtime AGT favorite back on the panel, her appearance is only temporary, with another guest judge expected to take over next week.
Of course, Heidi didn’t just bring her signature judging expertise to the stage she brought the fashion moment too!
For her return, Klum slipped into a breathtaking vibrant yellow strapless Alex Perry column dress that was pure sunshine. The sleek, body-skimming silhouette showcased the supermodel’s figure while subtle draping across the bodice added an elegant, sculptural touch.
The sophisticated midi-length design featured lightweight mesh asymmetrically draped through the bodice, creating dimension while maintaining the streamlined aesthetic Alex Perry is known for. The result was a look that felt both effortlessly sexy and incredibly polished.
Klum kept the styling sleek, allowing the bold yellow hue and architectural construction of the dress to steal the spotlight. Her appearance proved that when Heidi Klum returns to the AGT stage, she doesn’t just bring the talent she brings the fashion!
Although Klum has returned to the AGT panel several times over the years, she has a long history with the competition. She first joined the show during Season 8 and served as a full-time judge for six seasons before departing in 2018. She returned in 2020 and remained through Season 19, ultimately judging 11 seasons in total.
During her time on the show, Klum also delivered some memorable Golden Buzzer moments. One of her selections, singer Richard Goodall, went on to win Season 19 in 2024.
While Klum has never publicly given one definitive reason for her earlier departure from AGT, her return to Project Runway has been widely viewed as a factor. She is currently hosting and serving as head judge on the fashion competition’s 22nd season.
For now, though, it looks like Heidi is enjoying another moment under the AGT spotlight and judging by that gorgeous yellow Alex Perry number, she arrived ready to shine!
