Inside the 2025 Home for the Holidays Showhouse: A Masterpiece of Luxury & Design

I had the pleasure of attending the 12th Annual Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse benefiting the Atlanta History Museum, and this year’s showcase was nothing short of extraordinary. Touring these impeccably designed homes is always a joy, but this one may be my favorite of all time.

The breathtaking 8,500-square-foot residence was a dream to experience in person, so many thoughtfully curated rooms, each more stunning than the last. Nestled in Brookhaven and just minutes from Buckhead’s most luxurious shopping, the home had me wishing I could move in on the spot… if only I had $5 million to spare!

Fifteen talented interior design firms transformed the space, each bringing their own vision, creativity, and charm to their assigned rooms. I found myself particularly captivated by the primary bedroom designed by Kristin Co, and the primary bathroom and closet by 37th Burleigh Interior Design the details were simply exquisite.

Perched gracefully on a hill in Brookhaven, the 2025 Showhouse masterfully blends contemporary architecture with timeless sophistication. Designed by Linda MacArthur and built by Livingston Fine Homes, the exterior showcases clean modern lines, light brick, and expansive windows that overlook the lush neighborhood and nearby park.

Inside, designer Valerie Garrett infuses the home with elegance from a concave arched foyer ceiling to French oak floors and luxurious marble accents. Art Nouveau influences appear throughout, including leaded-glass kitchen cabinetry by Morgan Creek Cabinetry, a sculptural fluted marble hood, and refined decorative details.

A spacious great room on the main level, an opulent primary suite, and beautifully designed en suite bedrooms upstairs make the home ideal for families or downsizers seeking luxury. The terrace level features a wellness retreat, wine bar, and home theater an entertainer’s dream while the outdoor space, designed by Charlie Sears of Land Plus Associates, wraps the home in lush landscaping, a serene pool, a covered porch, and a cozy fireplace.

This year’s Showhouse was truly a feast for the senses elegant, inspiring, and unforgettable. Let’s just say… I’m already looking forward to next year! See some of the rooms inside and you can grab tickets to see this beauty from November 20th thru December 14th.
