Kelly Rowland opens up about returning to tour across the U.S. for the first time in 15 years, calling the experience pure joy. “It was so much fun,” she shared. “Mrs. Obama came out, the ladies of Destiny’s Child showed up, my best friend La La was there so many people came out to support.”
Kelly also dishes on her new project Relationship Goals!, revealing that her character is strong, driven, and unapologetically tough. She plays a showrunner who finds herself face-to-face with someone from her past Mike Todd, a real-life pastor and author whose book inspired the film.
She also talks about working closely with her husband, who serves as her manager, admitting that while it’s not always easy, clear boundaries and strong communication make it work. “He’s the best person for the job,” she says.
As a faith-based film, Relationship Goals! centers on love, purpose, and self-reflection. Kelly explains that it encourages people to take a closer look at what they’re aiming for in life and relationships because sometimes, you simply need to fix your aim.
