Red Carpet Rundown: BET Awards 2025

The 2025 BET Awards lit up Los Angeles, and the energy kicked off before the main event even began. The star-studded “Red Carpet Live” pre-show aired live at 6 PM ET/PT on BET, setting the stage for Culture’s Biggest Night. Fan-favorite TV personality Terrence J returned to co-host the electric preshow alongside comedian Pretty Vee, as they welcomed the biggest names in music, entertainment, and sports.

The “Red Carpet Live Show” delivered an unforgettable lineup of performances from both rising stars and cultural heavyweights, including 803 Fresh, GELO, Honey Bxby, Jordan Adetunji, Laila!, Larry June, The Alchemist, Mario, Rob49, Shop Boyz, Ying Yang Twins, Trillian, and a show-stopping performance by the legendary Lil’ Kim. Global sensations Spice of Jamaica and Moliy of Ghana turned the carpet into a worldwide celebration, while 2 Chainz debuted an exclusive new music video during the live broadcast.

Additional red carpet hosts, including Jacob Latimore, Jessie Woo, LeToya Luckett-Coles, and Mouse Jones kept viewers entertained with exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes moments. DJ Jae Murphy brought the vibes all night long with a high-energy live set that kept the arrivals buzzing.

Matasa Williams served as Executive Producer of the “Red Carpet Live Show.”

The main event, hosted by Kevin Hart, continued the momentum, airing live at 8 PM ET/PT and marking 25 years of celebrating Black excellence and cultural impact. Performances from Ledisi and Keyshia Cole in a 106 & Park tribute brought nostalgia and soul, while Elmiene and Ravyn Lenae graced the BET Amplified Stage with standout sets.

I thought this year’s red carpet was a bit all over the place, some of the looks were just wild, lol! But one standout for me was actress Ryan Destiny. She always brings the heat, and her look was flawless. No surprise there, her stylist is the legendary Law Roach, who also styles Zendaya, so of course she was going to serve! I also thought GloRilla looked cute, and I really loved the looks from Ashanti and Kash Doll, too. Check out all the red carpet moments inside…
