First Time Trying House Of Blues Disney Springs

While visiting Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida for a media trip, Disney invited us to a lil afternoon of fun and lots of food to try since it was the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts going on! I was at Disney Springs and they told us to pop in and try out House Of Blues on the West Side of Disney World’s Downtown Disney. It was my very first time trying out House of Blues and I loved it!

Once I walked in, I saw all sorts of artifacts that looked like they could be inside a museum. It was quite colorful and was filled artwork, murals, mosaics, sculptures, music and more! Soothing jazz was playing and I felt like I was home. It had really good vibes and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.

This restaurant was founded by Isaac Tigrett and he wanted to have a place that reminded him of his childhood, growing up in the south. Dan Aykroyd (Blues Brothers) is also a partner in the brand. The theme of the restaurant is all about the blues and its revealed and shown in so many ways throughout the place. We quickly got seated and then I looked up and saw all the famous faces of blues artists sprawled amongst the ceiling, it is something you will want to see.

They brought out samples of their very best dishes and let me tell yah, it was savory and so good! I enjoyed the gumbo ofcourse, and the bread pudding was to die for! EVERYTHING was simply scrumptious and if you are ever in the area, please stop in, you won’t regret it! I want to thank Disney for the experience and House of Blues for the hospitality, we had an amazing experience, till next time!
