Oscar Party In Support Of EJAF And M·A·C VIVA GLAM

This past Sunday, 2/9, following the Oscars; supported by M·A·C the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards hosted their 28th annual Viewing Party. This year’s EJAF Academy Awards Viewing Party hosts wereNetflix’s Queer Eye: Bobby Berk, Tan France, Karamo and Jonathan Van Ness. Inspired by rock musician and this year’s Oscar winner, Elton John – the viewing party is an annual event that supports the EJAF; a nonprofit organization that benefits innovative HIV prevention, education programs, direct care and support services to people living with HIV.

This year’s notable attendees included Euphoria’s Alexia Demie (M·A·C collaborator), Troye Sivan (former M·A·C VIVA GLAM spokesperson); Dita Von Teese (Former M·A·C collaborator/VIVA GLAM spokesperson), John Demsey(Executive group president Estée Lauder), and Drew Elliot (MAC Global Creative Director).

Since 2001, M·A·C has supported the Elton John AIDS Foundation through the sales of VIVA GLAM products, totaling $3.75 Million to date. M·A·C’s current grant to EJAF supports the establishment of EJAF’s Fund for Resilience, equity and Engagement (FREE) initiative, with a focus on the transgender community and Black gay and bisexual men. M·A·C ‘s funding over the years has also supported other initiatives focused on marginalized and most at-risk communities, including funding for EJAF’s harm reduction funding program.
