At just 20 years old, Azzy Milan, daughter of hip-hop legend Fat Joe and Lorena Cartagena, is stepping into her own spotlight as a model, content creator, fashion personality, and host of her very own series, Az If.
The stylish New York native recently stopped by The Tamron Hall Show to chat about growing up around legendary entertainers, her love of fashion, and why she’s determined to build a name for herself beyond her famous family.

An Old Soul With a Fabulous Sense of Style
One of the cutest things about Azzy is that she describes herself as an old soul. Although she’s only 20, she jokingly says she feels decades older!
Growing up in a household filled with music, legendary personalities, and plenty of wisdom definitely influenced her outlook on life.
She even revealed that Luther Vandross was a musical staple in her home. Now that’s what I call growing up with some good music, honey!

During her appearance on Tamron Hall, she shared a behind-the-scenes getting-ready video featuring a chic look from Avery James Label, paired with stylish pumps and jewelry.
I loved watching her put everything together because she clearly enjoys the entire styling process, from selecting the outfit to choosing the perfect accessories.
And you already know I’m an accessories girl!
A fabulous pair of heels, statement earrings, or the right handbag can completely transform a look.
It’s those little details that make fashion so much fun!
Fat Joe’s Advice to His Daughter: Keep Hustling!
Of course, the conversation wouldn’t have been complete without discussing her famous dad.
Fat Joe and Lorena Cartagena were in the audience cheering their daughter on, and it was such a sweet family moment.
When asked about the best advice she’s received, Azzy credited her father for encouraging her to work hard, dream bigger, and accomplish even more than he has.
She also praised both of her parents for constantly pushing her to become the best version of herself.
I thought that was such a beautiful message.
There’s something special about seeing parents support their children’s dreams while allowing them to develop their own identities.

What I love most about Azzy Milan is that she understands the difference between following trends and creating a lasting personal style.
Trends come and go, but individuality never goes out of fashion!
I’ve been in the fashion and entertainment world for over 20 years, and one thing I’ve learned is that the people who make the biggest impression are usually the ones who aren’t afraid to be themselves.
Whether I’m wearing a whimsical pink dress, attending a red carpet, or styling a fabulous outfit for an event, I always believe fashion should reflect your personality.
Azzy is part of a new generation of content creators who are making fashion feel conversational, entertaining, and accessible.
She’s young, ambitious, stylish, and clearly having fun along the way.
And with her growing career, new fashion partnerships, and entertaining digital series, I have a feeling we’ll be seeing plenty more of this young fashionista!
