It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and you guys know I love a fabulous holiday experience! Recently, I had the pleasure of attending the VIP preview of The Blind Pig Parlour Bar’s Holiday Pop-Up, located at Tin Lizzy’s in Midtown Atlanta, and let me tell you, it was such a festive night!
From the moment we walked inside, I was completely in the holiday spirit! The entire space was decked out with gorgeous Christmas decorations, twinkling lights, beautifully decorated trees, sparkling ornaments, and enough holiday bling to make any Christmas lover smile! It was giving festive, cozy, whimsical, and a little bit of holiday magic all wrapped into one!
And you already know I had to take a few pictures because the photo opportunities were everywhere!
Holiday Cocktails and Mocktails? Yes, Please!
Now, let’s talk about the food and drinks because your girl came ready to sample the menu! We decided to order several items because, well, why not? It’s the holidays, after all! Lol!
First up was the Rudolph’s Red Nose Mocktail, and oh my goodness, it was delicious! This pretty holiday drink featured blackberry, pineapple, coconut, and fresh lime. That fresh lime was my favorite part!
I don’t really drink alcohol, but I still wanted to join in on all the holiday fun, and this mocktail was the perfect way to do it. Plus, it was so pretty and festive! Cheers to that!
Let’s Talk About the Food!
We started our holiday feast with a few appetizers, including Bacon-Jalapeño Wrapped Shrimp, Mini Crab Cakes, and Short Rib Sliders.
Everything was absolutely delicious, but if I had to pick a favorite, those mini crab cakes stole the show! They were flavorful, perfectly prepared, and so tasty. I’m giving them a solid 10/10!
The shrimp were another yummy treat, especially with that combination of savory bacon and a little jalapeño kick. And the short rib sliders? Definitely worth trying!
For our entrées, we ordered Quesadillas and a Cantina Bowl. Both were satisfying choices and perfect for sharing while enjoying all the festive surroundings.
Of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert! We finished the evening with warm churros served with chocolate dipping sauce and a chocolate mousse trifle. What a sweet way to end the night!
The Perfect Holiday Spot for Date Night or Girls’ Night Out!
One thing I really enjoyed about The Blind Pig Parlour Bar’s Holiday Pop-Up was the atmosphere. It’s not just about grabbing a bite to eat. It’s about enjoying a whole holiday experience!
Between the sparkling Christmas trees, whimsical decorations, festive food, signature cocktails, and friendly staff, there was so much to love.
Whether you’re planning a romantic holiday date night, a fun girls’ night out, or a festive outing with family, this is definitely a spot to add to your Atlanta holiday bucket list.
