I had the most magical evening with Disney during the 2026 NABJ Convention! I was honored to be cordially invited to an exclusive private event at the extraordinary National Civil and Human Rights Museum and it was my very first time visiting! What an incredible experience to tour the museum, take in its powerful stories, and reflect on the importance of journalism, storytelling, equality, and community.
The evening was made even more special by spending time with the wonderful Disney team, Princess Tiana and fellow journalists and media professionals. From meaningful conversations with Disney leaders to getting a little sneak peek at what’s new and what’s to come, there was so much excitement in the air! 👸🏽
And of course… the Disney goody bags were absolutely magical! Because what’s a Disney event without a little extra pixie dust to take home?
Between the inspiring history of the museum, delicious bites and cocktails, wonderful company, and a touch of Disney enchantment, it was truly an unforgettable evening. 💫
