Episode 13 of Love Island USA delivered a fresh twist on the traditional recoupling ceremony. Instead of gathering around the fire pit to make their selections, the Islanders were asked to write heartfelt letters and place them in the mailbox of the person they wanted to couple up with for Week 4.
One of the night’s most talked-about decisions came from Kenzie Annis. After being paired with bombshell Caleb McDaniel during the previous recoupling, many viewers thought their connection would continue to grow. Caleb checked all the boxes for Kenzie’s self-proclaimed cowboy type, but her lingering feelings for former partner Corbin Mimsultimately won out. In a surprising move, Kenzie chose Corbin during the June 16 episode a decision that sparked plenty of debate among fans online, with many viewers expressing mixed feelings about the reunion.
Meanwhile, host Ariana Madix once again turned the villa into her personal runway with a stunning fashion moment. Ariana arrived in a dreamy light-blue satin mini dress by Di Petsa, featuring the designer’s signature “wet-look” effect, an elegant halter neckline, a keyhole cutout, and intricate wave-inspired draping that appeared to flow like water across the silhouette.
The look felt especially fitting given the brand’s philosophy, which explores the connection between women and water through an ecofeminist lens a concept beautifully reflected in the dress’s fluid design. Fashion fans may also recognize the designer from this season’s Summer House reunion, where Ciara Miller wore a memorable Di Petsa creation of her own.
Ariana completed the ethereal ensemble with elegant white and yellow gold puff earrings from Hillberg & Berk and a sleek high bun that highlighted the gown’s sculptural details. Paired with her rich brunette hair, the look was effortlessly sophisticated, proving once again why Ariana continues to be one of the standout style stars of the season.
