The other day, Train Dreams made its dazzling debut at the Toronto International Film Festival. Walking the red carpet were Director and Co-Writer Clint Bentley, stars Joel Edgerton, Felicity Jones, Kerry Condon, and William H. Macy, along with Co-Writer Greg Kwedar. The evening also welcomed Costume Designer Malgosia Turzanska, Production Designer Alexandra Schaller, Set Decorator Melisa Jusufi, Hair Department Head Kaleena Jordan, and Cindy Lee Johnson, widow of Train Dreams novella author Denis Johnson. Producers Marissa McMahon, Teddy Schwarzman, Will Janowitz, Ashley Schlaifer, and Michael Heimler rounded out the star-studded guest list.
Felicity Jones captivated in a floor-length crimson gown that was pure high drama. The structured neckline and sleek, body-skimming silhouette showcased Prada’s mastery of architectural design, while the sweeping cape train brought a sense of theatrical grandeur. Rendered in a rich, matte red that commanded attention under the lights, the gown ensured Jones was the undeniable centerpiece of the evening. Daring low-cut sides added a whisper of sensuality, perfectly mirroring the complexity of her character, Gladys Grainier a woman caught between love and loss in a rapidly changing world.
I absolutely loved this look on her, she did not come to play! I’m always here for a minimalist vibe done right, and she nailed it with just the perfect touch of accessories. A chic, sleek hairstyle, understated jewels, and flawless makeup let the dress take center stage and it fit her like a dream.
