Fall is officially in the air, and honey, you already know this is one of my absolute favorite times of the year! There’s something so magical about the changing leaves, crisp autumn air, cozy sweaters, cute boots, and all the fun seasonal activities that come along with it. And what makes it even sweeter? Enjoying it all with your favorite person!
Well, I’m excited because hubby and I have been invited to spend a little fall getaway at B.J. Reece Orchards in Ellijay, Georgia, and I couldn’t think of a more adorable way to celebrate the season!
We’re talking apple picking, cider sipping, beautiful mountain scenery, and a fun-filled day with other couples. Doesn’t that sound like the perfect autumn date?
A Romantic Fall Date at B.J. Reece Orchards
If you’ve been looking for fun things to do in Georgia during the fall, apple picking should definitely be on your couples bucket list!
Located in the beautiful North Georgia mountains, B.J. Reece Orchards is a popular destination for seasonal apple picking and outdoor family fun. Ellijay is known for its apple orchards, charming countryside, and gorgeous autumn scenery, making it a lovely place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
And while apple picking is usually thought of as a family activity, I think it’s also such a cute and romantic idea for couples!
Just imagine strolling through rows of apple trees, holding hands, taking adorable photos, sipping fresh apple cider, and enjoying a little quality time together.
It’s giving cozy fall romance, and I’m here for it!

Now, y’all know I can’t go anywhere without thinking about the fashion, lol!
I’m already imagining all the cute fall outfits we’ll see on this couples outing. Think stylish denim, cozy cardigans, cute hats, boots, plaid shirts, and warm autumn colors.
Of course, I’ll probably sneak a little soft pink into my outfit because that’s just who I am!
And can we talk about the photo opportunities? Apple orchards make the prettiest natural backdrops for couples’ pictures. Between the apple trees, rustic farm scenery, and gorgeous fall colors, I’m hoping hubby and I capture some really sweet memories.
I might even convince him to pose for a few romantic photos with our apple baskets. Wish me luck, lol!
Why Apple Picking Is Such a Cute Couples Date Idea
One thing I’ve learned about marriage and relationships is that you don’t always need an extravagant vacation or fancy dinner reservation to enjoy quality time together.
Sometimes the sweetest moments happen when you’re doing something simple, like walking through an orchard, laughing together, or trying something new.
That’s what I love about planning seasonal date experiences. They give you a reason to slow down, disconnect from your everyday routine, and just enjoy each other’s company.
And since we’ll be spending the day with other couples, I’m especially looking forward to the laughter, conversations, and memories we’ll create together.

Another reason I’m excited about this outing is the opportunity to spend time in Ellijay.
North Georgia is such a beautiful place to visit during autumn, especially when the leaves begin changing colors. Between the rolling hills, orchards, scenic drives, and charming small-town atmosphere, it feels like the perfect setting for a mini romantic getaway.
I love discovering experiences that are close enough to enjoy without having to plan a huge vacation.
Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary, planning a weekend adventure, or simply looking for something different to do with your sweetheart, a fall trip to an apple orchard is a wonderful idea.
Making Sweet Memories With My Favorite Person
I’m really looking forward to spending this special day with hubby, enjoying the fall scenery, picking apples, sipping cider, and making memories with our friends.
And let’s not forget the most important part: finding the perfect apples to bring home! Maybe we’ll even turn our little harvest into a delicious homemade dessert.
