Over the years, nothing has brought me more joy than gathering women together to laugh, connect, and enjoy unforgettable moments of pure girl time! I’ve been hosting my annual Girls Night In for more than a decade now, and each year feels even more special than the last. I asked the ladies to dress up in their favorite characters colors. If they were team Good Witch they were to wear pink, if they were team Elphaba, they were to wear black. Last night, my girls and I headed to Regal Cinemas at Atlantic Station for an advance screening of Wicked: For Good the perfect film to celebrate friendship! And since it’s the holidays and my favorite color is pink, the whole night felt extra whimsical and magical.
Before the movie, we kicked things off with the viral TikTok table game Grab The Item. Each guest brings gifts for the group, they all get tossed onto the table at once, and everyone reaches in and snatches something new it’s chaotic, hilarious, and so much fun. Huge thank you to my amazing sponsors for making it extra special this year! After our gift-grabbing frenzy and a quick photo op, we settled in for the movie and loved every minute.
Every year I try to plan something fresh and fun for the ladies, and this year’s celebration was truly a hit! We even left with a sleigh-full of goodies from Universal Studios, including Wicked-themed tees, jerseys, mirrors, mugs, press-on nails, notepads, and so much more. It was a festive night full of sparkle, sisterhood, and holiday cheer!
I really enjoyed Wicked: For Good it was such a magical experience from start to finish! The set design and cinematography were absolutely stunning, every scene looked like it belonged in a storybook. The storyline kept me hooked the whole time, and the music was everything… the vocals gave me chills! And of course, the costumes were breathtaking especially Ariana Grande’s look as the Good Witch. She was perfection!
I have to admit, the surprise ending totally caught me off guard (in the best way). I was not ready for that twist! Overall, it was a beautiful film with heart, style, and so much enchantment. I definitely recommend it!
