On yesterdays edition of  “Tamron Hall,” beloved rapper and actor Chris “Ludacris” Bridges joined Tamron for a candid conversation about the “Fast and Furious” franchise, his music and acting career and fatherhood. Ludacris dished on the highly anticipated upcoming “Fast and Furious” flick, “Fast X,” noting that the new installment will honor late star Paul Walker and will be a true full circle moment for fans. Ludacris also talked about touring with the iconic Janet Jackson and shared his excitement over receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Additionally, Ludacris opened up about fatherhood, being a girl dad and teased long-awaited new music coming soon.  See the video clip inside…

Ludacris Teases New Music:

“We are definitely going to get some music in before the end of this year. I would say an album, probably next year. But music starting this year. It’s the ‘Fast and Furious’s’ fault they keep shooting more movies. What am I supposed to do?”

Ludacris Talks Fatherhood and Being a Girl Dad:

“That’s why I work out so much. Gotta protect all these girls. You know, I’m just very sensitive now. I was like that dad, that they make that face and they can get whatever they want. I don’t know what I have turned into…They are a perfect blend of me man and it’s wonderful to see you know bits and pieces of myself in  all of them. I absolutely love it. There’s nothing I enjoy more than being a father.”

Ludacris Says “Fast X” Will Honor Paul Walker & Be a Full Circle Moment For Fans:

“That’s [Paul Walker’s death] very emotional for me, like we were very close. Our birthdays are one day apart. And you know, a lot of the things that we’re doing are to carry on his legacy. And there’s even some surprises that I can’t tell you guys about right now, but this is a movie that you have to watch because it’s going to continue to, you know, get you emotional and remind you about how wonderful of an individual and what he left on this earth and continues to leave…A lot of his family is around us and that helps us a lot. So I want to say that we just continue to do everything in our power to make this franchise the best that it can possibly be because we know that if you watch 10, it might make you want to go back and watch one through 10 all the way over again. And that’s what we’ve been very smart in doing and just making sure that everybody understands. Everything is cohesive and it all comes full circle.”

Ludacris On Touring With Janet Jackson:

“We got the call that she wanted us to be on tour and you know, listen, I was like blown away. I mean, she could have picked anybody and I’m like, ‘Wow, she picked me.’ Yeah, so my mother is even more proud about this. My mother has been to like eight out of the 10 shows we have done so far. She had that privilege obviously but yeah, she’s loving it.”

Ludacris On Receiving A Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame:

“Man, honestly, there’s no real way for me to describe it because I’m constantly in this forward movement, motion, you know, I’m constantly looking ahead. So this is one of those moments where it forces me to stay still for a second, look back and appreciate the moment. There’s no way to describe it.”
