I was out shopping for a beautiful antique piece for our foyer for our new home when I decided to stop by one of my longtime favorite vintage shopping destinations, Queen of Hearts Antiques & Interiors in Buford, Georgia.

Now, let me tell you something! I’ve been shopping at this fabulous antique store for over 20 years, and it never disappoints! If you love vintage treasures, one-of-a-kind furniture, home décor, antique clothing, collectibles, plants, and all sorts of unusual finds, this place is a must-visit!

It’s also a favorite shopping destination for movie set designers looking for unique pieces. There are aisles upon aisles of vendor booths, each filled with its own personality and hidden treasures. You truly never know what you’re going to discover!

A Little Halloween Surprise for Just $2!

While browsing one of my favorite aisles, I stumbled across a booth filled with adorable Halloween goodies. And wouldn’t you know it, I spotted two little treasures tucked away in a basket that immediately caught my attention!

One was a cute Happy Halloween sign, and the other was the sweetest little witch doll. Both were just begging to come home with me, lol!

And guess how much I paid for both?

TWO DOLLARS, honey!

Yes, you read that correctly! Two adorable Halloween accessories for the price of a little snack! Now that’s what I call a fabulous fashion find!

My Secret to Creating Cute Bag Charms on a Budget

If you’ve been following me for a while, you already know that I absolutely love decorating my handbags with fun bag charms!

Bag charms are having such a moment in fashion right now, and I’m here for every bit of it! Whether it’s a cute doll, a playful ornament, a fluffy accessory, or something seasonal, adding a charm to your handbag is such an easy way to show off your personality.

Plus, they’re fabulous conversation starters! I can’t tell you how many times someone has stopped me to ask where I purchased a charm hanging from my purse.

And here’s my little secret: I don’t always buy actual bag charms!

Instead, I shop for ornaments, tiny decorations, keychains, and other cute accessories that I can easily turn into handbag charms.

Some of my favorite places to hunt for these inexpensive treasures include TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Target, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, dollar stores, and, of course, thrift and antique shops!

Why spend a small fortune on trendy purse accessories when you can create something just as adorable for a fraction of the price?

Styling My Halloween Bag Charms

For this little Halloween fashion moment, I decided to dress up my classic black Coach handbag with my new spooky finds.

The bright green Happy Halloween sign added such a fun pop of color, while the little witch doll brought a playful, vintage-inspired touch. I also added a festive orange-and-black ribbon to make everything look extra cute!

And because I love mixing pretty with playful, I think the combination of black leather, gold hardware, pearls, and whimsical Halloween accessories is just darling!

It’s giving spooky chic without being over the top, and I love that!

Fashion Doesn’t Have to Cost a Fortune!

One thing I’ve learned throughout my years of loving fashion is that great style isn’t always about how much money you spend. It’s about how creative you can be!

Sometimes the most fabulous accessories are hiding in a clearance bin, a thrift store basket, or even the holiday ornament aisle.

I especially love changing my bag charms with the seasons because it gives my favorite handbags a fresh new look without having to purchase another purse.

So, the next time you’re out shopping, don’t overlook those little dollar bins or vintage treasures. You might just find the cutest accessory for your handbag!

And if you’re ever in the Buford, Georgia, area, make sure to stop by Queen of Hearts Antiques & Interiors. Give yourself plenty of time to browse because there are so many wonderful things to discover!

Now tell me, are you loving the bag charm trend, or do you prefer carrying your handbags without accessories?

Until next time, happy thrifting and happy spooky season, beauties! 🎃💕
