Nissan Rogue 2022, A Toddler’s Dream

I thoroughly enjoyed testing out the 2022 Nissan Rogue last week! The first little person that I introduced the vehicle to was my three-year-old grandson Legend! He gets a kick outta zipping around Atlanta in my cars and he told me that he liked the color and the horn lol. I appreciated the new design of it and a few months back, I remembered a conversation with my mom where she told me that she just bought this same suv.

It’s a great automobile and perfect for all I had to do, which included a few red carpet events, grocery shopping and driving back and forth to visit my family and friends. Handles great on the road, it had all the tech stuff needed inside and even wifi capabilities. Step inside to see all the features this vehicle offers, I was very pleased with it and would buy this for sure!

The Nissan Rogue was completely redesigned and reengineered for the 2021 model year with the overriding intent of making family life easier.

Now, just one year later, the 2022 Rogue adds an even higher level of driver and family enjoyment with the arrival of an all-new 1.5-liter variable compression (VC) Turbo engine and refined all-new transmission the gives customers best-in-class gas engine fuel economy and torque.

Nissan Motor Company pioneered the variable compression engine with the introduction of the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo 4-cylinder in the 2019 INFINITI QX50 and the 2019 Nissan Altima. More than 20 years in development, the VC-Turbo system continuously adjusts its compression ratio to optimize power and efficiency through use of a breakthrough advanced multi-link system.

The new powertrain delivers 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque – an increase of 11 percent and 24 percent respectively versus the 2021 Rogue. Even with the increased power, the 2022 Rogue’s estimated fuel economy is 33 mpg combined, an increase of 3 mpg over the 2021 model.
