The other night, Paddle and Party for Pink held an event in the Hamptons. The star-studded soirée on Mecox Bay kicked off just in time for sunset, which served as a beautiful backdrop to the fashionable Hamptons crowd. Celebrities in attendance included Lena Dunham, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rachel Zoe, Jenna Krakowski, Bethenny Frankel, Tracy Anderson, Gabby Reece and Laird Hamilton — just to name a few. Dunham and her friends sipped on Moët & Chandon bubbly and partied to performances by Chic (featuring Nile Rodgers), DJ Brendan Fallis, and world famous Hawaiian fire dancers. Most importantly, guests bid on custom paddle boards designed by Tory Burch, Bethenny Frankel, Donna Kara, La Mer, Aerin Lauder, Nicole Miller, Rachel Zoe and Oprah.

Gwyneth Paltrow, in a floor-length white dress, kicked-off the evening by welcoming guests declaring, “this is the party to be at in the summer.” Lena Dunham also took the stage, looking out over the crowd and remarking, “you are just all so attractive.” She regaled the crowd with the story of her day paddleboarding and told guests that they too could become professional surfers like Laird Hamilton “in just a few days of work” if they bid on a board. She ended her speech by encouraging everyone to “enjoy the champagne!” Tracy Anderson, wearing a crocheted dress that revealed her toned body, along with fuchsia Louboutins, also joined them to speak on the importance of physical fitness. Rachel Zoe, with hubby Roger in tow, arrived in a glamorous caftan and gold lame platform heels. The stylist posed next to the one-of-a-kind surfboard that she designed. As the evening wore on, celebrities and guests sipped on Moet Ice Imperial, the first champagne to be served over ice, and enjoyed a luxe spread of bite-sized treats. Late in the evening Jenna Krakowski slipped in almost undetected and grabbed a quick glass of bubbly before the party was over.
