Now this is what I call a fabulous pairing! Two legendary queens coming together to share their wisdom, talent, and a little tough love? Yes, please!
The one and only Patti LaBelle is returning to The Voice for Season 30, and this time she’s joining forces with Queen Latifah as a special advisor for the Battle Rounds, beginning October 12, 2026.
And honey, when Miss Patti walks into the room, you already know you’re about to get a masterclass in music, confidence, and keeping it real!
This isn’t Patti’s first time lending her legendary expertise to the singing competition. She previously appeared as a guest advisor during Season 10 in 2016, working alongside Christina Aguilera. Now she’s back to help Queen Latifah’s talented artists take their performances to another level.
In a sneak peek of the upcoming Battle Rounds, Queen Latifah encourages her contestants to push beyond their comfort zones and give everything they’ve got. Patti jumps right in with her signature wisdom, reminding the young singers that creativity requires courage, vulnerability, and the willingness to put something meaningful into the world.
But leave it to Miss Patti to keep things hilariously honest!
At 82 years young, the Grammy-winning icon makes it clear that she’s not interested in holding back her opinions. She believes in speaking from the heart, even when her honesty might ruffle a few feathers. Now that’s the kind of confidence I love!

What I absolutely adore about this moment is seeing two powerful Black women sharing their experience with the next generation of entertainers. Patti LaBelle and Queen Latifah have built incredible careers by embracing their individuality, staying true to themselves, and refusing to let anyone put them in a box.
And can we talk about Miss Patti still showing up, looking fabulous, and inspiring people at 82? That’s what I call aging beautifully and living with purpose! And fun fact! Patti and I share the same birthday May 24th lol.
As someone who loves music, entertainment, and watching talented people chase their dreams, I think this pairing is going to bring plenty of memorable moments to the competition.
I’m especially excited to see how the contestants respond to Patti’s advice because, let’s face it, you don’t get an opportunity to learn from a living legend every day!
The Battle Rounds of The Voice Season 30 begin October 12, and I’ll definitely be watching to see what these two queens bring to the stage.
