Patti LaBelle Spreads Christmas Cheer on Tamron

Kicking off Tamron Hall’s joyful “Week of Wishes,” legendary, award-winning singer Patti LaBelle stopped by for a heartwarming and holiday-filled chat. Patti opened up about hitting the road on the Queens Tour, embracing life as a proud grandma, and even revealed the perfect holiday gift she had planned just for Tamron.

To make the moment even more magical, Patti treated viewers to an exclusive festive performance of “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” instantly filling the studio with holiday cheer. When it came to Christmas plans, Patti shared that the celebration would be at her house this year though she joked that she wasn’t cooking… before laughing and admitting she absolutely is. With help from her grandkids, especially on the mac and cheese, it’s sure to be a family affair. Patti lovingly shared that her grandkids call her “Grandma,” and while she admits she spoils them endlessly (much to her son’s frustration), she proudly says she’s a very good grandma.

The conversation continued with Patti reminiscing about joining Kelly Rowland on stage during The Boy Is Mine Tour, where Kelly and Michelle surprised her with 300 roses in gratitude for Patti’s support early in their careers. Patti also reflected on how special it felt that much of the audience came from Philadelphia, her hometown.

She went on to celebrate the success of the Queens Tour alongside Chaka Khan and Stephanie Mills, calling the experience truly unforgettable. In the spirit of giving, Patti surprised one lucky audience member with a pair of tickets and shared just how blessed she feels this holiday season.

Never one to shy away from real talk, Patti weighed in on holiday traditions too saying regifting is perfectly fine if it goes to someone who will truly appreciate it, and adding extra seasoning in front of guests? She says go for it make it your own!

To close out the festivities, Patti and Tamron had one final surprise for the audience, gifting them Patti LaBelle’s pancake and waffle mix, along with coffee and a coffee maker sending everyone home full of holiday joy and a little extra sweetness.
