Pharrell Performs For The "American Express Unstaged" Music Series, Directed By Spike Lee, Live Streamed From The Apollo Theatre

Pharrell’s American Express Unstaged performance directed by Spike Lee took place the other night at the famed Apollo Theatre in NYC! The fashion icon and music producer came under fire the other day for wearing a Indian headpiece for his cover on Elle Uk but since then has issued an apology! 

Pharrell apologized in a statement that read:

“I respect and honor every kind of race, background and culture. I am genuinely sorry”.

Pharrell took the stage by storm performing a number of his new hits including Lose Yourself To Dance, Come Get It Bae, Hunter, Lost Queen, Happy and more as well as some great covers of Hot in Herre, Drop It Like It’s Hot and Holla Back Girl.
