Red Carpet Rundown: Cast Of ‘Dune: Part Three’ At CinemaCon In Las Vegas

Timothée Chalamet made a striking return to the spotlight at CinemaCon 2026, unveiling exclusive footage from Dune: Part Three alongside director Denis Villeneuve and castmates Zendaya and Jason Momoa on April 14 in Las Vegas. The appearance marked his first major outing since the 2026 Oscars.

Taking the stage together, the cast introduced a gripping preview of the film, including what appears to be a sweeping battle sequence that sets the tone from the very beginning. The third installment draws from Dune Messiah, continuing the saga of Paul Atreides as he faces the consequences of his rise to power nearly two decades after ascending as emperor while adversaries quietly scheme to bring him down.

Chalamet described Paul’s evolution as a haunting transformation, explaining that the character becomes a reflection of his darkest foresight. Now 17 years into his reign, Paul is caught in a deeply internal struggle trying to hold onto his humanity and protect those closest to him, even as he fully steps into his role as a formidable and feared ruler.

Reflecting on completing the trilogy, Chalamet shared that the journey has been profoundly emotional. Having grown alongside Villeneuve’s vision and sharing the screen with Zendaya across three films, he called the experience both rare and deeply meaningful. He likened the масштаб of the trilogy to epic franchises like Lord of the Rings, noting how special it feels to be part of such an ambitious cinematic universe at a time when theatrical success isn’t as guaranteed. Above all, he expressed immense gratitude for collaborating with Villeneuve, calling it one of the greatest honors of his career.

Dune: Part Three is set to arrive in theaters on December 18.
