Angela Bassett lit up the red carpet at the Atlanta special screening of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning at Regal Atlantic Station on May 21, 2025. The legendary actress, who stars as President Erika Sloane in the latest installment of the franchise, was surrounded by love and support, including a special appearance by her Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated sisters.
A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta, Bassett shared a beautiful moment posing with her sorority sisters who came out in full force to celebrate her achievements. In a memorable highlight of the evening, she was also honored with a proclamation from the City of Atlanta for her contributions to film and culture.
The star-studded screening drew in several local celebrities, including Jacob Latimore, Trina Braxton, Porsha Williams, LaTavia Roberson, and many more. The atmosphere was electric as attendees gathered to witness Bassett’s powerful return to the Mission: Impossible universe.
