Chichería Mexican Kitchen, one of Atlanta’s go-to spots for authentic Mexican cuisine, is set to become West Midtown’s newest weekend hotspot with the launch of its Jazz Brunch Buffet, which debuted on Sunday, Sept. 28. I took my grandsons along to check it out, and we had such a fun time!
The brunch features a talented live jazz duo and a traditional Mexican buffet curated by Executive Chef Joey Vazquez. The spread includes delicious breakfast favorites, a variety of savory meats, rice, soups, Mexican breads, pastries, fresh coffee, and agua frescas all showcasing Vazquez’s creative takes on classic Mexican dishes. Guests can also enjoy $5 mimosas and a selection of bottle specials to complete the experience.
When I asked my grandsons what they thought, they were impressed by the wide variety on the menu. My one-year-old grandson, Legacy, can’t quite talk yet, but judging by how much he was eating, I’d say he loved it! Legend gave it two thumbs up and I have to agree. I absolutely enjoyed the bold flavors, the perfect amount of spice, and the lively, welcoming ambiance.
