Supergirl Creator Event At The Grove

Actress Milly Alcock made a star-powered appearance at the Supergirl Intergalactic Station fan experience at The Grove in Los Angeles, celebrating the upcoming release of DC Studios’ highly anticipated superhero adventure, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

The immersive event transformed The Grove into a cosmic playground inspired by Supergirl’s universe, complete with vibrant street-art-inspired installations, larger-than-life Superman iconography, themed photo moments, exclusive merchandise, giveaways, and interactive fan experiences. Guests were also treated to an up-close look at the Spacehog vehicle featured in the film, giving attendees a taste of the movie’s adventurous intergalactic journey.

Milly, who stars as Kara Zor-El, better known as Supergirl, joined fellow DC Universe newcomer Jason Momoa, who takes on the role of the fan-favorite antihero Lobo, along with screenwriter Ana Nogueira, whose script brings the beloved heroine’s latest chapter to the big screen.

Fans packed the venue throughout the day, snapping photos, exploring the themed attractions, and celebrating one of the year’s most anticipated comic book releases. The appearance of Alcock, Momoa, and Nogueira added to the excitement, offering fans a rare opportunity to connect with the creative team behind the film while experiencing the larger-than-life world of Supergirl firsthand.

Open to the public for a limited time, the Supergirl Intergalactic Station experience invited visitors to immerse themselves in the action, adventure, and wonder of Supergirl’s universe ahead of the film’s theatrical debut. With anticipation continuing to build, the event served as the perfect launchpad for what promises to be an epic new era in the DC Universe.

“Supergirl,” DC Studios’ newest feature film to hit the big screen, will be in theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures, starring Milly Alcock in the dual role of Supergirl/Kara Zor-El. Craig Gillespie directs the film from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira. When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.

Alcock stars alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa. DC Studios heads Peter Safran and James Gunn are producing the film, which is based on characters from DC, Supergirl based on characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The film is executive produced by Nigel Gostelow, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars P. Winther. Behind the camera, Gillespie is joined by director of photography Rob Hardy, production designer Neil Lamont, editor Tatiana S. Riegel, costume designers Anna B. Sheppard and Michael Mooney, Visual Effects Supervisor Geoffrey Baumann, music supervisor Susan Jacobs and composer Claudia Sarne.
