Hey guys, this month has be completely insane but I am LOVING every minute of it! I am now here in Chicago, Illinois on a Chicago Press Day Junket with NBC. You might remember me being here last year around this time when I got to meet and interview lots of the cast of three of their popular tv shows, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med! Well I am back and they have some new and exciting things that we will get to see and I can’t wait to share everything with you! Check out inside all that I will be doing, who I will get to interview and the fun activities while here in Chi-town! Please don’t forget to check back to see my full recaps and pictures! You can also follow me on my social @talkingwithtami to see up to the minute info and pics, have a great and relaxing Sunday! xoxo

Here’s a description of the demo this year:

A Props and Wardrobe Show & Tell. They are going to utilize a stage and pull in a vehicle for each show – a fire truck for Fire, police car for PD, ambulance for Med. They’ll have props/wardrobe set up a station at each with a bunch of our props and wardrobe for press to try on and play with and ask questions about. They’ll also have cast from each show there to talk about how the props are used in the show.

  • For Chicago Fire, they are including bunker gear to try on, oxygen tanks, some of their tools (both the real ones and the rubber ones so they can see the difference). It may also be possible to get on the fire truck a bit.
  • I will get to interview:

    Jesse Spencer
    Taylor Kinney
    Eamonn Walker

    Monica Raymund
    Kara Killmer
    David Eigenberg
    Miranda Rae Mayo

    Yuri Sardarov
    Joe Minoso
    Christian Stolte

  • For Chicago PD, they’ll have police vests, the ram to open doors, etc. Get loaded into the back of a cop car.

    Jon Seda
    Jesse Lee Soffer

    Patrick John Flueger

    Marina Squerciati
    LaRoyce Hawkins
    Amy Morton
    Tracy Spiridakos

  • For Chicago Med, there’s a wealth of medical props and prosthetics, as well as lab coats and gloves/hats/masks. We may also have a surgical bed with the hole cut out in the middle so you can get in with a prosthetic belly or legs to experience what it’s like to be part of the show.
  • I will get to interview:Marlyne Barrett
    Yaya DaCosta
    Brian TeeColin Donnell
    Nick Gehlfuss
    Torrey DeVitto
    Rachel DiPilloS. Epatha Merkerson

They are fashioning it so that I can go between each area and enjoy at my own pace. I could play, try things on, talk to props/wardrobe/actors and possibly tech advisors from each of the shows.

This sounds like SO MUCH FUN and I can’t wait to share all of the photos and recaps with you guys! Make sure that you check back on the blog to see all the cool happenings or you can follow me on social @talkingwithtami for up to the minute information and pictures.
