Actress Anya Taylor-Joy attended the UK premiere of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” at the BFI IMAX Waterloo on May 17, 2024 in London, England. I want to first say, I absolutely HATE this fashion trend argh! It’s so dumb and uncalled for! Can we please go to red carpet events with skirts or pants on? I just don’t see the reasoning in dressing like this. You are literally showing up to a very grand affair with basically a swimming suit on lol. It’s looks ridiculous and I get it, you want to have the shock value and get people to talk about how dumb you look but I digress. It’s NOT going to get me to go see your movie because you showed up at a premiere in this mess but okay!
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE this look but just not for a red carpet or basically anywhere in public lol. She is styled gorgeously yes, but it still just don’t hit for me! Ok enough of me ranting but the 38-year-old beauty posed for photos with her co-star Chris Hensworth looking fabulous. Her outfit was a black velvet off-the-shoulder bodysuit with hand made white silk organza roses.
I would wear this to a fun pool party, add a flowy skirt and she could be off to a lovely garden party too. I can think of so many ways to wear this but definitely would add a sarong or sheer wide-legged pants, yes! She’s going to look back at this and say, what was I thinking.
