Last week, Celebrity Squares tackled an HBCU-themed episode. BET has a long history of connection to HBCUs for obvious reasons. So, it’s only right to highlight a contestant who attended an HBCU. That would be Ms. Nene Leakes. She took center square on the episode and while we know her for giving us iconic one-liners on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” there was so much more to see lol!
We all know that NeNe Leakes was somewhat of a scholar and attended Morris Brown in Georgia. Unfortunately she had to drop out after her second year. She became pregnant with her first son. If you have been watching, she also went back to school on the hit show, College Hill: Celebrity Edition that’s where she attended Texas Southern University. She received a certificate in multidisciplinary studies.
On the show, you know NeNe gives you fashion and fabulous shoes! She wore a lilac satin Bias feather tab gown with high slit. NeNe always pulls herself together and this dress was gorgeous on her! She paired her look with silver accessories and sleek blonde hair and soft makeup and lashes! Very elegant indeed, see more photos inside and the designer of her dress!
