Daniel Radcliffe is having an absolute blast in his new comedy The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins and yes, that includes sharing the screen with Tracy Morgan, aka Sherri Shepherd’s beloved “TV husband.”
During his chat with Sherri, Daniel kept it real about working with Tracy, joking that you can always count on him to say “five of the wildest things you’ve ever heard” but balanced it with high praise, calling him generous, hilarious, and genuinely kind. According to Daniel, the set is filled with good energy and even better vibes.
Of course, things took a turn when Sherri confirmed one of the most outrageous stories tied to her former 30 Rock co-star. Yes it’s true. Back when they lived in the same building, Tracy’s infamous shark tank exploded, sending gallons of water flooding straight into Sherri’s apartment. The result? A full-on evacuation her, her son, and most importantly… her wigs. Priorities!
Daniel, who’s since visited Tracy’s home, backed up the legend. He described it as massive, over-the-top, and slightly unbelievable complete with a 20,000-gallon shark tank and a collection of exotic (and slightly terrifying) sea creatures, from piranhas to one of the deadliest snails on the planet. Casual, right?
Despite the chaos, Daniel says the experience of working on the show has been nothing short of joyful. With a stacked team that includes powerhouse creatives and actors like Erika Alexander, he shared that the environment is just as fun off-camera as it is on. For him, it’s simple: life’s too short not to work with people who bring good energy and this cast delivers.
Between shark tank disasters, comedic chaos, and undeniable chemistry, this show is already sounding like must-watch TV.
