I had the most magical birthday getaway at Walt Disney World with my favorite Prince! 🏰 We spent the day at the enchanting Magic Kingdom, which everyone knows is one of my absolute favorite places ever. I hadn’t visited in almost two years, so this little birthday escape felt extra special and dreamy!
One of the highlights of the day was finally experiencing Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! 🌿🐸✨ The ride officially opened in June 2024, and even though I missed it that year, that only made finally seeing it in person even more exciting. Inspired by Princess Tiana’s story, the attraction takes you on a whimsical journey through the bayou alongside Tiana and Louis the alligator as they gather musical critters for a lively Mardi Gras celebration all leading up to that iconic 50-foot drop!
From the moment we arrived, I was completely in awe. The details, the music, the beautiful scenery, and all the fun little activations while waiting in line made the experience feel so immersive and magical. And speaking of the line, we only waited about 35 minutes because we got there right at 9 AM! The sunshine, the excitement in the air, and the peaceful morning Disney vibes made everything feel like a fairytale come to life.
Now let’s talk about the ride itself… SO much fun! The little surprise drops had us laughing and screaming, but that huge final drop definitely caught us off guard in the best way possible! And yes… I got completely soaked 😂 but honestly, with that Florida heat, it felt refreshing and perfect.
After our adventure, we headed over to meet Princess Tiana herself looking absolutely fabulous as always! 💚 It was my husband’s very first time seeing her in person, which made the moment even sweeter. He was such a trooper the entire day and I even convinced him to wear a Ray t-shirt for the occasion!
Overall, I give Tiana’s Bayou Adventure a sparkling 10/10! Between the creativity, storytelling, music, and pure joy packed inside the attraction, it truly felt magical from beginning to end. The gift shop was adorable too, although I definitely think Princess Tiana deserves even MORE beautiful merchandise because she is that girl! 👑✨
