A Pink Wonderland at America’s Mart: Stepping Inside the Whimsical World of Glitterville

I attended this year’s America’s Mart Gift Show in downtown Atlanta and quite literally wandered into a dream. One moment I was walking the aisles, and the next bam! I stepped into a showroom drenched in pink. A glorious, joyful, can’t-look-away sea of pink. It was bursting with creativity, delight, and pure magic, and I instantly found myself smiling from ear to ear. I was officially in pink heaven.

All I could think was how perfect it would’ve been if my daughter Tyra had been there with me  especially with her signature hot pink hair. She would have blended right in like she was part of the décor! 💕

What truly made the showroom sparkle wasn’t just the color (though it was unforgettable), but the beautiful sense of inclusivity and diversity woven into every detail. If there was a Santa Claus, there was an African American Santa too. The same thoughtful representation carried through doll figurines, Noël platters, mug sets, oversized macarons, ornaments, and my absolute favorites the enchanting sugar plum pixie figures. Every corner felt intentional, joyful, and welcoming.

The magic didn’t stop there. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Stephen Brown and Bryan Crabtree, the creative minds and co-owners behind Glitterville Studios. And yes I also met their fabulous feathered friends, Dolly and Folly, the fanciest, fluffiest chickens I’ve ever laid eyes on. Truly icons.

Stephen and his partner are known for creating show-stopping Christmas trees, dramatic staircases, and whimsical holiday wonderlands that feel straight out of a storybook. Beyond the fantasy, they also share practical decorating wisdom from how to properly fluff your tree to layering ornaments for a truly designer-level holiday look. I’ve been a longtime admirer of Stephen’s work, so finally meeting him felt surreal. I even showed him a photo of my daughter, and he loved it a moment I’ll treasure forever.

From dreamer to doer, Stephen Brown brings imagination to life through Glitterville, his one-of-a-kind studio where ideas sparked on long walks turn into handcrafted magic on the studio floor. A former actor, costume designer, and Fifth Avenue window display artist, his creative roots run deep and it shows in every whimsical detail.

It was one of those moments that reminds you why creativity matters, why representation matters, and why a little pink magic can go a very long way ✨💗
