For the highly anticipated Love Island USA reunion, host Ariana Madix brought a little vintage glamour to the occasion, stepping onto the scene in a breathtaking goddess-inspired look that instantly caught my eye!
And honestly, who doesn’t love a fabulous vintage fashion moment? There’s something so special about wearing a beautifully crafted piece from another era especially when the design feels just as stunning and relevant today.
Ariana’s newly darker hair, which is almost brunette, paired beautifully with the soft butter-yellow hue of her gown. The combination gave her entire look a warm, radiant glow that I absolutely adored. Ariana even shared that her hair transformation has opened up new possibilities when it comes to fashion.
“I think with blonde hair, you really are very limited in what you can wear and can’t wear that doesn’t start looking, as the kids say, ‘cheugy’ or ‘lame,’” she said. With her darker locks, the pale yellow Versace gown felt like “a ray of sunshine, reflecting on the water.”
And what a dress it was!
Ariana wore a vintage Versace gown from the Spring/Summer 2006 runway, crafted from pale yellow silk and featuring cascading crystal and bead embroidery throughout the bodice. The glamorous halter-neck silhouette showcased a plunging neckline framed with sheer illusion mesh and intricate embellishments, while heavily beaded panels added extra drama at the hips.
The gown was finished with a beautifully bias-cut skirt, a daring high front slit and a sweeping chiffon train that gave the entire ensemble a dreamy, goddess-like feel. Fashion fans may also recognize the stunning piece, as it was famously worn by Hailey Bieber at the Vogue Australia Summer Ball at the Sydney Opera House.
Ariana Madix definitely understood the assignment! Between the darker hair, radiant butter-yellow silk and iconic vintage Versace design, this reunion look was sunshine, glamour and goddess energy all wrapped into one unforgettable fashion moment.
