Just hours before the 2025 Oscars, Halle Berry and Adrien Brody recreated their unforgettable kiss on the red carpet, sending fans into a frenzy. Halle playfully said, “Twenty-one years I’ve been waiting to get him on a red carpet and plant one on him.”
In 2003, Brody won Best Actor for The Pianist and surprised everyone by kissing Halle, who presented him with the award. This time, Halle confirmed Brody’s girlfriend, Georgina Chapman, was totally cool with it, joking, “Only because she was fine with it.”
Halle stunned the crowd in a show-stopping, body-hugging Christian Siriano gown, making it clear that sitting down wasn’t an option. “Can’t sit down in this baby,” she quipped. The strapless mirrored dress featured sheer panels down her legs, flowing into a chic short train, creating a sleek silhouette that turned heads.
To complete the look, Halle added a touch of glamour with Pomellato Jewelry and styled her hair in a sleek, flipped-out bob.
During the red carpet pre-show, Christian Siriano, who was offering commentary, shared his excitement about dressing Halle for the Oscars. “My entire career, I wanted to dress one person at the Oscars, and that’s Halle Berry,” he said. “It’s different for her, it’s metallic, it’s iridescent.” Siriano also revealed the dress was adorned with 7,000 beads, adding an extra layer of sparkle to the already stunning ensemble.
