Stars including Hugh Jackman, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Chris O’Dowd, Nicholas Braun, Molly Gordon, Brett Goldstein, Regina Hall, and Rhys Darby stepped out alongside director Kyle Balda, screenwriter Craig Mazin, author Leonie Swann, and producers Lindsay Doran and Eric Fellner for the New York premiere of The Sheep Detectives on Sunday, April 19.
This clever, genre-bending mystery follows George (Jackman), a shepherd who spends his evenings reading detective novels to his flock never imagining they’re actually paying attention. But when a strange rattles the quiet rhythm of farm life, the sheep take matters into their own hooves, stepping into the role of unlikely sleuths. As they piece together clues and size up their human suspects, they prove they’re far more perceptive and brilliant than anyone ever expected.
On the carpet, Regina Hall delivered a standout fashion moment in a striking single-sleeved foulard top crafted from printed silk with a bold striped motif and soft nappa leather trim. The asymmetrical silhouette, finished with a tie-back detail, offered a modern take on refined elegance effortlessly chic with an edge.
