A few months ago, my daughter started planning her son Legend’s 3rd birthday. She asked him if he wanted to go to a beach or did he want to play in the snow. Funny thing, when she asked him we had flurries that day here in Atlanta, so ofcourse Legend picked to play in the snow lol. I guess because we don’t get that much snow here, it was something new he wanted to experience.
So this past weekend my family and a few friends got all packed up and we headed to Denver, Co for the rocky mountains! Once we landed in the afternoon, we got settled into our cute Airbnb, freshened up and we headed to dinner! Tyra requested everyone wear their best houndstooth outfits and it was so fun to see everyones looks, even the babies lol.
We dined at a lovely seafood restaurant called, Downtown Aquarium. This place was huge with million gallons of underwater exhibits and the food was really, really good! Our waitress was super sweet and the atmosphere was very nice. Legend loved this place and especially since he loves all sorts of animals! It was our backdrop for the evening and kinda reminded me of the Georgia Aquarium here.
Denver has some amazing views as we drove around the city and its lots to do. Check back to see day two where we have some fun in the show and try snow-tubing for the first time! Till then, enjoy the snaps inside…
