Funny Story: Giving Unconditionally… Even If It Kills Yah!

I wanted to share a funny story that happened to me, that I’m sure all of you can relate to, especially if you love all things fashion!

About a month ago, I traveled to New York City for fashion week and there was a Vogue Style Lounge that I attended. One of the parting gifts was a Brahmin leather wallet from the Spring 2014 collection. I love accessories and this wallet/wristlet was a pretty fancy one that you could carry your cell phone in. I love those!! I also like luxury goods but who doesn’t right?  So time goes on and I still have the wallet in my drawer, never even been used. My bestie was coming in town and I knew that her favorite color was purple, which was the shade of my Brahmin wallet. She is not into fashion as much as I am but I kept contemplating back and forth if I was going to gift her with my brand new wallet. To be honest, I get things all the time, I really didn’t need another wallet, so I decided (after a long deliberation lol) to include it with some other items for her “Welcome to Atlanta” gift bag when she arrived. I knew she was going to love it! I felt a pit in my stomach at first because it’s hard giving up things that you truly love. We all have to learn to give more and not worry about it, so I did!

When she arrived, I gave her the gift bag, she opened it up and immediately smiled! The first thing she reached for was the wallet. Ha, I knew it! She said she loved it and started switching over things from her old wallet to the new one. Her cell phone fit in the new wallet perfectly too! I liked seeing the smile on her face, it made me happy as well. A few more weeks go by. Yesterday evening I get an email from the brand. They asked me if I would be interested in checking out their new spring collection and visit their store, located here in Atlanta! Are you kidding me? They also said, yes we would like for you to do a lil shopping too! See guys, look how God works! I gave unconditionally and God is blessing me! So the moral of the story is, if you have it to give, give! You just might not know what is in store for you! Till next time! xoxo
