During a conversation about their new Peacock series “The ‘Burbs,” stars Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall share their hilarious IRL experiences with haunted houses, including Keke warding off demons with her singing, and Jack growing up in a creepy victorian house. KeKe shared that she’s definitely encountered some creepy houses and when things start feeling off, she immediately breaks into gospel songs. She joked that her grandmother used to straight-up talk to the spirits and tell them to leave her alone.
Jack chimed in with his own spooky story, saying he once lived in a Victorian home that had a ghost who turned out to be his dad. He laughed that they tried saging the house multiple times, but his dad absolutely refused to go anywhere.
