Regina King Opens Up For The 1st Time After The Death Of Her Son, And Movie Shirley

Oscar-Winning Actress Regina King sat down with trusted news anchor Robin Roberts a few days ago. The actress opened up in an exclusive interview with ABC News’ Robin Roberts about her son’s untimely death and discussed the importance of her new movie “Shirley.” Two years after her son took his life, which was a shock to the whole world. This was her first time speaking out about her late son Ian Alexander Jr,. who died by suicide in January 2022 at the age of 26. My condolences goes out to her because I know this was such a sad story to relive, my heart aches for her!

King stars as Shirley Chisholm in SHIRLEY the story of the first Black congresswoman and her trailblazing run for president of the United States.
