After an astounding 72 million live votes, Dancing with the Stars closed out Season 34 in spectacular fashion on Tuesday, Nov. 25 crowning Robert Irwin and his pro partner Witney Carson as the champions.
The duo topped the leaderboard by earning the strongest combined total of audience votes and judges’ scores, edging out a fiercely talented lineup that included Dylan Efron & Daniella Karagach, Alix Earle & Val Chmerkovskiy, Jordan Chiles & Ezra Sosa, and Elaine Hendrix & Alan Bersten.
After a season packed with standout routines and tight competition, Irwin the beloved wildlife conservationist and son of the legendary Steve Irwin lifted the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy alongside Carson.
Across finale night, Irwin and Carson secured 89 out of 90 possible points. Earle and Chmerkovskiy finished just behind them in second place with a flawless 90 out of 90, proving how razor-close the finale truly was. More photos inside and a video clip…
