Sabrina Carpenter took over Saturday Night Live on October 18 as both host and musical guest and she did not disappoint! The pop darling brought her signature charm, humor, and a whole lot of sparkle to the stage while performing tracks from her brand-new album Man’s Best Friend.
Sabrina kicked things off by belting out “Manchild” in cheeky SNL-themed underwear, using a hairbrush as her mic (because, why not?). Later, she switched things up literally by throwing on a gi and showing off her karate moves for her track “Nobody’s Son.”
The Espresso singer also had fans cracking up with her sketches, transforming into a 12-year-old boy podcast host, a head-injury-prone girlboss motivational speaker, and even a singing washing machine. During her opening monologue, she didn’t shy away from the buzz surrounding her album cover, addressing the controversy with her usual wit and sass.
This marks Sabrina’s third official SNL appearance fourth, if you count her surprise cameo earlier this year during Quinta Brunson’s episode. And let’s just say… she’s officially an SNL favorite. For the show, Sabrina absolutely dazzled in a Naeem Khan beaded boatneck dress that shimmered with fringe and sparkle. The look was pure glam perfect for a New Year’s Eve bash or a fun night out dancing with friends. See more inside…
