Talking With Tami Headed To L.A. For The Hollywood Premiere Of Pirates Of The Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales

Hello mates, I hope you had a great weekend! I’m excited to announce that I will be headed back to Los Angeles courtesy of Disney for the Hollywood Premiere and Press Junket for Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales and a host of other fun activities! What I will be doing? Come on in and check it out….

First off, we will be staying at the newly remodeled Sheraton Universal hotel. From there we will head to Dave & Busters in the evening for dinner, drinks and plenty of games! I hear there is a new game called, “Disney Crossy Road: Pirates of the Caribbean” that everyone is excited about and want to play.

On Thursday, we head to Walt Disney Animation Studios where we will have a Q+A Press Conference with Donald “Donnie” Dunagan (young voice of “Bambi”) and Peter Behn (young voice of “Thumper”) moderated by Disney Archivist Becky Cline.

Then another Q+A Press Conference with Paul Felix, Visual Development Artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios who was inspired by Tyrus Wong’s work (Tyrus Wong was an animator on Bambi)

Walt Disney Signature collection release will be BAMBI coming out on Digital HD May 23rd and Blu-ray June 6th. To help celebrate this Disney Classic’s 75th anniversary they will have a very special opportunity for us  to sit down with two members of the original voice cast ….Donnie Dunagan (“Bambi”) and Peter Behn (“Thumper”).

Bambi was released in 1942 during World War II and took over five years to make due to its exquisite hand-drawn artwork and attention to detail. Beloved by generations, “Bambi” holds the No. 3 spot on the American Film Institute’s “10 Top 10,” honoring the 10 greatest animated films of all time. The timeless tale features an adorable young deer named Bambi who explores the wonders and challenges of the woods with his playful pal Thumper, the lovable skunk Flower, and wise Friend Owl – and ultimately fulfills his destiny as prince of the forest.

Later that evening, we get all dolled up for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES Hollywood premiere! There is a pre-party then we get to walk the red carpet amongst the stars then see an advance screening of the film, sounds like a blast!

Friday we arrive at Walt Disney Studios, where we get a private tour of the Walk Disney Archives to learn about the history of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Later we then head to Disneyland to have loads of fun! We get to visit the theme park and ride all day and try different restaurants.

Saturday we head to Walt Disney Studios where we will have a press junket with the cast of Pirates of the Caribbean, we will be interviewing:

Javier Bardem (“Captain Salazar”)

Geoffrey Rush (“Barbossa”)|
Brenton Thwaites (“Henry”)
Kaya Scodelario (“Carina Smyth”)

  1. This does sound like fun. Bambi is so nostalgic. Enjoy. Can’t way to see your pictures.
