Okay, dolls, can we give a fabulous round of applause to two of my absolute favorite baddies in Hollywood? Because Tracee Ellis Ross and Keke Palmer are officially celebrating some well-deserved Daytime Emmy wins, and I couldn’t be happier for these talented ladies!
Both women took home trophies at the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Friday night, celebrating projects that showcase their creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and passions beyond acting.
And that’s what makes these wins even more special!
We’re talking about two incredibly talented women who continue to reinvent themselves, create opportunities, and inspire others while looking fabulous doing it!
You already know how much I love seeing women winning, especially when they’re building something meaningful and doing things their own way!

Tracee Ellis Ross Wins Her First Emmy for Solo Traveling!
First up, let’s talk about the beautiful and always stylish Tracee Ellis Ross!
The black-ish star had an extra reason to celebrate because her Emmy victory came just one day after her 54th birthday!
Now, that’s what I call a fabulous birthday present!
Tracee took home her first-ever Emmy Award for her Roku travel series, Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross, which won Outstanding Travel and Adventure Program.
During her acceptance speech, Tracee expressed her excitement and thanked Morocco, Mexico, and Spain, the three countries featured in the show’s first season.
And when she proudly announced that she was officially an Emmy winner, you could just feel her joy!
But dolls, here’s the part that really made me laugh.
After celebrating her big win on Instagram, Tracee enjoyed a delicious burger!
Now that’s my kind of celebration! Lol!
Sometimes you just want to put on something comfortable, grab a good meal, and enjoy your moment!
I absolutely love her personality!

Now, let’s give it up for another one of my favorite ladies, Keke Palmer!
The actress, singer, television host, and entrepreneur added another Emmy Award to her collection, winning Outstanding Daytime Short Form Program for Glam Through the Ages.
The project was produced through KeyTV Network, the creative platform Keke founded to help support emerging talent and give new voices opportunities in entertainment.
And dolls, I absolutely love the concept behind this series!
Glam Through the Ages explores the fascinating history of beauty and glamour, highlighting how hairstyles, fashion, and personal expression have evolved over time.
It also examines the cultural influences and representation that have shaped beauty trends throughout different generations.
Now, you already know this is right up my alley!
As someone who has spent years covering fashion, beauty, and entertainment, I appreciate projects that celebrate the artistry and history behind the looks we love.
Beauty is so much more than lipstick, lashes, and fabulous hair.
It’s about creativity, identity, culture, and telling our stories.
And that’s exactly why this project is so meaningful!
Keke Palmer Celebrates the Vision Behind KeyTV Network
Following her Emmy win, Keke shared a heartfelt message on Instagram reflecting on how KeyTV began as a simple idea.

I have to say, Keke is always such a joy to talk to!
The last time I saw her was right here in Atlanta in 2025, when she was promoting her hilarious film One of Them Days.
And dolls, she was so much fun on the red carpet!
Keke has such a vibrant personality, and I love how she brings her authentic self into every interview and appearance.
She’s funny, outspoken, incredibly talented, and never afraid to try something new.
Whether she’s acting, hosting, producing, or building her own creative empire, Keke continues to show that there are no limits to what a determined woman can accomplish.
And I love that for her!

Dolls, stories like these make me so happy!
I’ve been covering entertainment, fashion, and beauty for many years, and one of my favorite parts of this journey has been meeting talented women who are doing incredible things.
I’ve had wonderful opportunities to interact with both Tracee Ellis Ross and Keke Palmer, and what stands out to me is how much personality and passion they bring to everything they do.
And that’s exactly what these Emmy wins represent.
Tracee created a travel series that celebrates independence, self-discovery, and the joy of exploring the world on your own terms.
Keke helped create a platform that gives emerging talent opportunities to learn, grow, and share their creativity.
Two very different projects, but both rooted in passion and purpose.
