Angel Reese has added another major milestone to her growing list of accomplishments—she’s officially getting her very own Barbie Signature Doll.
Just ahead of WNBA All-Star Weekend, Barbie announced on Friday, July 24, that the Atlanta Dream standout is the latest superstar athlete to be immortalized as a Barbie, celebrating not only her impact on the basketball court but also her influence beyond the game.
“While Angel Reese undoubtedly makes history on the court, her influence reaches far beyond basketball,” Barbie shared in its announcement. “Through the Angel C. Reese Foundation, she champions equity for girls and underrepresented communities by expanding access to sports, education, financial literacy, and opportunities that have historically been out of reach.”
Standing 6-foot-3, Reese has become one of basketball’s brightest young stars, captivating fans from her NCAA championship run at LSU to her WNBA career and recent move to the Atlanta Dream. Now, fans have a new way to celebrate the powerhouse forward with a collectible doll inspired by her signature style and confidence.
The Barbie stays true to Reese’s on-court look, including one of her most recognizable accessories a single leg sleeve. According to Sports Illustrated, Reese wears one legging both to cover a scar and as a tribute to two of her basketball inspirations, WNBA stars Te’a Cooper and A’ja Wilson.
