What a wonderful time I had listening to actress, director, wife, mom and entrepreneur Drew Barrymore speak at her first-ever Lucky Magazine fashion and beauty conference. Th event was held at the very posh SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. During her conversation with 250 fashion & beauty bloggers, Drew discussed how difficult it is trying to be a mom and have a career all at once. She had to put some things aside and her passion directing was put aside.
“It sucks when you’ve worked really hard for certain things and you have to give them up because you know that you’re going to miss out on your child’s upbringing, or you realize that your relationship has suffered.”
I can’t agree with her more! She was so excited talking about her daughter Olive, I love her name! She was such a delight to hear and now she has a new venture which is her new beauty brand Flower Beauty! It’s 181 products and sold exclusively at Walmart. She wanted to create a line of makeup for all types of women. As women, we have different moods, so the line definitely has that. Later we all got a chance to mingle with her at a cocktail party and check out her line. I loved the packaging and the color rose gold she used.
