During “Would Keke Palmer Give a Damn,” Keke hilariously reacted to a series of Bravo-inspired scenarios, revealing exactly what would and definitely wouldn’t get under her skin. From over-the-top home renovations to shady comments about her teeth, she kept it candid and carefree. She also shared how she’d handle the awkward moment of friends arriving at a gala just as everyone else was heading out the door.
Later on the After Show, Brooke Shields and Keke answered questions from both virtual and in-studio fans. Keke opened up about navigating criticism in the spotlight and revealed the affirmations she leans on to stay grounded, while Brooke reflected on dating John F. Kennedy Jr. and shared her thoughts on Love Story.
The fun continued during “Mop or Flop,” where Brooke and Keke took a fashionable stroll down memory lane, revisiting some of their most unforgettable red carpet looks to decide which ensembles still deserved a “mop” and which ones were better left in the fashion archives.
Brooke kicked things off with a sleek 2002 ESPY Awards look that she proudly declared was still a “mop,” even revealing that the custom-made outfit still lives in her closet today. Keke followed with her colorful 2013 Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon ensemble, affectionately calling her younger self “cute” and giving the playful look another stamp of approval.
Not every fashion flashback survived the test of time, though. Brooke laughed off her shoeless 1991 appearance at The Vagina Monologues, admitting the daring moment complete with no underwear was definitely a “flop.” Meanwhile, Keke continued her winning streak by approving several glamorous looks, including a striking royal blue Emmy Awards gown she enthusiastically screamed over once it appeared onscreen.
Brooke also reflected on a chic vintage 2002 ensemble designed by legendary fashion designer Ossie Clark, praising its timeless rock-and-roll elegance. But when it came to one mixed-texture outfit pairing, even Brooke admitted the styling didn’t quite work, calling the skirt-and-jacket combination a “flop,” though she confessed she’d still gladly wear the jacket today.
Keke, however, drew the line at one casual 2011 Nickelodeon-era outfit, jokingly distancing herself from the look with, “Get her out of here. I don’t know who that is,” sending the audience into laughter.
