Zendaya never misses when it comes to method dressing, and her latest red carpet moment was pure couture perfection.
For the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the actress leaned fully into the film’s arachnid inspiration with a pair of custom Christian Louboutin pumps created exclusively for the press tour.
Based on the Maison’s iconic Miss Z silhouette, the bespoke stilettos featured an elongated pointed toe, sculptural four-inch heel, and the unmistakable flash of the signature Loubi-red sole. The real showstopper, however, was the intricate spiderweb-inspired lace overlay, paired with suede detailing along the topline and heel. Adding a dramatic finishing touch, a delicate jeweled spider perched across the vamp of one shoe, its tiny legs elegantly draped over Zendaya’s foot a subtle yet striking nod to Marvel’s iconic web-slinger.
She paired the one-of-a-kind heels with a custom Ashi Studio Fall 2026 Couture gown that was nothing short of wearable art. The dramatic black creation featured a sculpted satin bodice with architectural, spider-like extensions that framed the neckline before cascading into a voluminous ruffled train. Completing the look were dazzling Boucheron lavallière diamond pendant earrings, adding just the right amount of brilliance to the darkly glamorous ensemble.
Stylist Law Roach later revealed that the extraordinary footwear came to life after he personally reached out to Christian Louboutin with an idea for a custom heel inspired by the film. The legendary designer delivered exactly that, creating a pair that transformed a classic pump into a couture conversation piece.
Now that’s the kind of fashion pull that only Zendaya and Law Roach can make happen. Talk about stepping into character in the most luxurious way possible.
