First Look: Netflix ‘Love Is Blind’ And My Friend Carlton Morton Is One Of The Cast Member!

LOVE IS BLIND, a three-week event, follows the journey of singles who want to be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like. They take a less conventional approach to modern dating where they hope to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with…without ever having seen them. With no distractions from the outside world, the singles talk to a stream of potential love interests and when a meaningful connection is made, they propose and then lay their eyes on their fiancé for the first time. Engaged and back in the real world, as the couples plan their wedding day, they will quickly discover whether they can turn their emotional connection into a physical one before the fast-approaching ceremony. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, this addictive 10-part series rolls out weekly for three weeks with a two-hour finale on February 27th where they uncover whether looks or age do matter, or if love really is blind.

Sidenote: My friend Carlton Morton is one of the singles on the show and I’m too excited! We go WAY back and used to be cut buddies online especially twitter back in the day! We would tweet about The Real Housewives of Atlanta as it aired weekly and we would go in and everyone would crack up at our commentary! He reached out to me the other day and told me that he was going to be on the show and that he was having a viewing party next week. I was too delighted and I’m too excited to attend the red carpet next week! So check back for all the fun and red carpet pictures. Check out a trailer of “Love is Blind” inside from Netflix and congrats to my friend Carlton as well! The show airs on February 13th.

Is love really blind? Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey bring together single people looking to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with… without ever seeing them. They’ll go on dates with a catch: they don’t meet face-to-face. With no distractions from the outside world, the singles talk to potential love interests and when a meaningful connection is made, they propose before laying their eyes on their fiancé for the first time. Engaged and back in the real world, as the couples plan their wedding day, they will quickly discover whether they can turn their emotional connection into a physical one before the fast-approaching ceremony.
